Von der Leyen: Today, as in 2016, we stand united
Brussels, March 22 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated in a message marking the 10th anniversary of the Brussels attacks that they commemorate the victims and remain committed to protecting Europe’s shared values.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen shared a commemorative message on the anniversary of the terrorist attacks carried out in Brussels in 2016.
Referring to the deep impact of the attack on society, von der Leyen said, "It has been 10 years since Brussels was attacked in a way it will never forget. Today, we think of the victims and their loved ones who still carry the pain of a loss that time cannot heal."
Emphasizing solidarity, von der Leyen stated, "Today, as in 2016, we stand united. We are in solidarity and determined to protect our shared values."
