Berendsen: The Netherlands will send support for relief and rescue operations
Amsterdam, June 25 (Hibya) – Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen announced that following the earthquakes in Venezuela, he contacted his counterpart Yvan Gil and informed him that the Netherlands would send support for relief and rescue operations.

Expressing his shock over the situation caused by the earthquakes and noting that he had contacted his counterpart, Berendsen said: "We are devastated by the situation in Venezuela after the earthquakes. Our thoughts are with everyone affected. I immediately contacted Yvan Gil to let him know that we are ready to help."
Emphasizing his country's commitment to supporting the disaster-hit region, Berendsen added: "The Netherlands will send support for relief and rescue operations."
