Lithuanian Foreign Minister Budrys emphasized that Russia directly threatens Euro-Atlantic security and is testing NATO's borders.

He stated that today, three Russian warplanes violated Estonian airspace, adding: “Until the Alliance turns Baltic air policing into full Baltic air defense, until rotational air defense models become a reality, and until the Eastern Sentinel operates 24/7, these provocations will escalate further.”

Budrys stressed that these are not coincidences, saying: “The Alliance is being tested militarily. We must sharpen NATO's stance to the point where no one dares to test our deterrence. Lithuania stands in full solidarity with our ally Estonia.”
