Earthquake of magnitude 5.9 in Kamchatka
Moscow, September 19 (Hibya) – An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 struck the Kamchatka Peninsula in eastern Russia.
According to data from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the earthquake occurred off the coast of Kamchatka at a depth of 70 kilometers.
The magnitude of the quake was measured at 5.9.
