Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys addressed global security dynamics, the importance of transatlantic ties, and the strategic support that should be provided to Ukraine.

Drawing attention to converging global threats, Budrys said: "Russia's war against Ukraine, instability in the Middle East, and the growing assertiveness of China and North Korea are converging into a single security reality. This means a more contested and less predictable world that demands clarity, resilience, and genuine unity from us."

Referring to the role of the transatlantic alliance and NATO, Budrys stated: "The transatlantic bond remains the foundation of our security. NATO is its backbone. A strong U.S. presence in Europe is indispensable not only for deterrence but also as a clear signal of Allied resolve."

Emphasizing Ukraine's position and the hybrid threats posed by Russia, Budrys said: "Ukraine stands at the center of Europe's future security. Ukrainians are defending their sovereignty and our collective stability. Beyond Ukraine, Russia is already testing Europe through airspace violations, cyberattacks, disinformation, and sabotage. These are attempts to undermine trust, weaken our societies, and test our resolve."
