Bulgarian Foreign Minister Georgiev met with his Lebanese counterpart
Sofia, November 11 (Hibya) – Bulgarian Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev met with Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raji.
Bulgarian Foreign Minister Georgiev received Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raji at the ministry.
The meeting took place as part of the official visit of Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun to Bulgaria at the invitation of President Rumen Radev.
Minister Georgiev described President Aoun’s visit as a “new chapter” in bilateral relations and emphasized that Lebanon’s stability and prosperity are of great importance not only for Bulgaria but for the entire Middle East region.
Raji, for his part, expressed his readiness to cooperate and revive and strengthen the relations after a period of stagnation. He also welcomed the traditional ties of friendship between the two countries and peoples.
