Buying trend stands out in Asian stock markets
Istanbul, September 22 (Hibya) - Buying activity dominated Asia-Pacific markets during the week's trading session.
Asian markets posted a positive performance during the week's trading session. All major indices tracked recorded gains, with the strongest increase seen in Japan's stock market, led by the Nikkei 225 index.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index rose a strong 1.38 percent to 65,018.95 points. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng (HSI) index gained 0.36 percent to reach 25,131.75 points.
In China, the Shanghai Composite index traded at 3,958.64 points, up 0.22 percent, while Australia's S&P/ASX 200 index and India's NIFTY 50 index ended the day at 8,747.00 and 23,453.80 points, respectively, with both rising 0.17 percent.
