Mostly positive picture in European stock markets
Istanbul, September 22 (Hibya) – European markets were broadly positive in the new trading session of the week, while some indices moved sideways. The UK and Italian stock markets stood out with gains.
In the UK, the FTSE 100 index rose 0.75 percent to 10,739.01 points. In Italy, the FTSE MIB index gained 1.60 percent to reach 52,371.54 points.
In Germany, the DAX index remained unchanged at 25,575.01 points, while France’s CAC 40 index also traded flat at 8,138.94 points.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index also ended the day unchanged at 641.93 points.
