Canada on Bahrain: Iran's violations of Bahrain's sovereignty condemned
Ottawa, June 27 (Hibya) – Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand said during a telephone conversation with her Bahraini counterpart that Canada condemns Iran's violations of Bahrain's sovereignty, emphasizing international law and regional peace.
Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand issued a statement regarding her telephone conversation with Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
Anand reaffirmed Canada's solidarity with the people of Bahrain during the call and stated that Canada condemns Iran's unlawful violations of Bahrain's sovereignty.
The statement also noted that Canada is calling for a sustainable solution that supports lasting peace and security in the region.
