In a statement, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Canada and Saudi Arabia continue to leverage their shared strengths in energy, critical minerals and artificial intelligence as they work to transform their economies.

Carney stated that the two countries have signed new agreements that will increase knowledge sharing between workers and businesses.

Noting that the agreements are intended to create more career opportunities in Canada and Saudi Arabia and enhance economic prosperity, Carney stressed that efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two countries will continue.
