Cassis: OSCE needs to become more effective
New York, September 22 (Hibya) - Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Brendan Hanrahan.
According to a statement by Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, the meeting addressed Switzerland's 2026 Chairpersonship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the challenges facing European security and ways to make the OSCE more effective.
Cassis said the OSCE needs to be adapted to current conditions and made more effective.
