Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The two ministers reviewed Pakistan-Kuwait relations and expressed satisfaction with the continuation of high-level contacts between the two countries. The sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Regional and international developments, particularly the situation in the Middle East, were also discussed during the meeting. The sides emphasized “the importance of continuing dialogue and diplomacy” to address all issues and promote peace and stability.
