CENTCOM: 138 vessels diverted under blockade of Iranian ports
Washington, October 17 (Hibya) - US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that 138 commercial vessels had been diverted as part of the naval blockade of Iranian ports.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that the guided-missile destroyer USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115) had transited waters in the region to support the naval blockade of Iranian ports.
CENTCOM stated that, as of October 17, its forces had diverted 138 commercial vessels to ensure compliance with the blockade rules.
