Crosetto: Violence must be condemned under all circumstances
Rome, October 17 (Hibya) - Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto condemned incidents of violence in several cities, particularly Milan, Bologna and Turin, and expressed his support for security forces.
Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto stated that demonstrating is a right but violence cannot be considered a right, describing the incidents in Milan, Bologna, Turin and other cities as unacceptable.
Crosetto emphasized that attacking security forces, throwing stun grenades and damaging public surroundings do not constitute defending an opinion, stating that such actions violate the rights of others.
Crosetto noted that security forces are not the enemies of demonstrators but public servants carrying out their duties for everyone, expressing his solidarity with and gratitude to all uniformed personnel.
