CENTCOM: 3 U.S. soldiers killed in Operation Epic Fury
Tampa, March 1 (Hibya) - The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that 3 U.S. soldiers were killed and 5 were seriously wounded in combat operations conducted as part of Operation Epic Fury.
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) shared updated information regarding ongoing military operations.
According to the statement, as of 09:30, 3 U.S. soldiers were killed and 5 were seriously injured under Operation Epic Fury.
The statement also noted that several other personnel sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions and are in the process of returning to duty.
CENTCOM stated that the situation in the region remains dynamic and that large-scale combat operations and response efforts are ongoing.
The statement included the following:
“As the situation remains fluid, out of respect for the families, we will not release additional information, including the identities of the fallen, until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.”
