Putin sends condolences for Iranian Religious Leader Khamenei
Moscow, March 1 (Hibya) - Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a message of condolence following the assassination of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and members of his family.
Russian President Putin conveyed his condolences over the assassination in which the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and members of his family lost their lives.
Describing the assassination as a brutal violation of all norms of human morality and international law, Putin said, “In our country, Ayatollah Khamenei will be remembered as a distinguished statesman who made enormous personal contributions to the development of friendly Russia-Iran relations and to elevating them to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership.”
Putin expressed his solidarity with the Iranian people.
