London, June 18 (Hibya) - UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper stated that reports of a possible major attack in El Obeid, Sudan, are deeply concerning.
UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said that reports indicating a major attack had recently taken place in El Obeid, Sudan, are extremely alarming.
Cooper called for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to withdraw immediately and urged all parties to de-escalate tensions. She emphasized that civilians must be allowed to evacuate safely and that humanitarian aid must be able to reach the region.
Drawing attention to the loss of life in Sudan, Cooper stated that the attacks must stop immediately.
