Costa: Affordable energy is a key element of Europe’s competitiveness
Brussels, August 27 (Hibya) - European Council President Antonio Costa discussed the European Union’s enlargement, competitiveness and long-term budget with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis.
European Council President Antonio Costa announced that he met with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis in Prague.
According to Costa’s statement, the meeting addressed the European Union’s (EU) enlargement, competitiveness and the union’s long-term budget for the coming period.
Costa said that safeguarding the future of European industry means strengthening Europe’s security, adding that affordable energy is one of the key elements of Europe’s competitiveness.
Costa emphasized that this approach is one of the main objectives of the “One Europe, One Market” agenda.
