Costa: EU unity is critical for successful peace negotiations
Brussels, 24 November (Hibya) – European Council President Antonio Costa assessed the situation in Ukraine ahead of the informal meeting of European Union (EU) leaders with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
European Council President Antonio Costa stated that he discussed peace efforts in Ukraine during his meeting with President Zelensky.
Costa noted that the meeting took place prior to the informal gathering of EU leaders and that Zelensky provided an assessment of the latest developments.
He added: “The EU's united and coordinated stance is crucial for ensuring successful peace negotiations for Ukraine and Europe.”
