Costa: I strongly condemn Iran’s attacks
Brussels, February 28 (Hibya) – President of the European Union (EU) Council Antonio Costa condemned Iran’s attacks against several countries in the region.
EU Council President Costa stated that he strongly condemns Iran’s attacks against various countries in the region, saying that these attacks represent a dangerous escalation of the military situation in the Middle East.
Expressing his full solidarity with the targeted countries, Costa said: “I welcome today’s meeting of the United Nations Security Council. The Council must work to restore peace and stability in the region and ensure that Iran never acquires nuclear weapons.”
