Brussels, September 22 (Hibya) – European Council President Antonio Costa met with Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
European Council President Antonio Costa met with Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Costa said that Senegal is an important partner for the European Union and plays an important role in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and in the region, adding, “We look forward to further strengthening our bilateral partnership and continuing to work closely on peace, stability and sustainable economic development.”
