Costa: Norway is a key partner for Europe and international stability
Brussels, February 20 (Hibya) - President of the European Union (EU) Council Antonio Costa, following his meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between the two sides and the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement.

Meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, Costa described Norway not only as a neighbor but also as an indispensable stakeholder for Europe’s security.
Stating that the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement is the cornerstone of this close cooperation, Costa said: “The European Union and Norway are partners, neighbors and friends. For more than thirty years, the EEA Agreement has been the cornerstone of our close cooperation. As we discussed with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, Norway is a key partner for Europe and international stability. Our determination to further deepen our relationship is unwavering.”
