Dar: Pakistan will host SCO Summit to high standards
Islamabad, September 30 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, reviewed preparations for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of State Summit to be held in Islamabad in 2027.
According to a statement by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting on preparations for the summit.
Dar expressed satisfaction with the ongoing preparations and instructed the relevant institutions to continue working in close coordination and complete the preparations on time in accordance with the established schedule.
Dar emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to successfully hosting the SCO Summit and setting high standards as the host country of the important multilateral forum.
