Palestinian Foreign Minister Shahin meets ambassadors in Africa
Ramallah, September 30 (Hibya) – Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Aghabekian Shahin held a video conference with Palestinian ambassadors in African countries.
According to a statement from the Palestinian Foreign Ministry, Minister Varsen Aghabekian Shahin briefed Palestinian ambassadors in African countries on the latest political developments and the situation on the ground in Palestine.
Shahin said attention should be focused on the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, the continuing loss of life and the inability to ensure the entry of aid at the required level. The meeting also addressed the situation in the West Bank, settler attacks, settlement activities, the status of Jerusalem and developments concerning Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The meeting also reviewed efforts to strengthen Palestine’s political presence and develop bilateral relations with African countries.
