Estonia and Singapore discussed security issues
Tallinn, May 20 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna met with Singapore’s Coordinating Minister for National Security K. Shanmugam. Bilateral relations and regional security developments were discussed during the meeting.

Tsahkna stated that the Russia-Ukraine war and the continuation of pressure on Moscow were also discussed during the meeting. The Estonian minister noted that cooperation between the two countries has strengthened in recent years in the fields of business, technology, and maritime affairs.
The statement also emphasized the importance of strong mechanisms to increase resilience against threats such as disinformation, foreign interference, and sabotage, adding that “strong global partnerships are at the center of this effort.”
