Estonia expresses support for Finnish Foreign Minister Valtonen
Tallinn, October 16 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna announced that Estonia, together with Iceland, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Norway, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, expressed strong support for Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen within the framework of the OSCE Chairmanship.
Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna emphasized that Estonia, alongside Iceland, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Norway, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, voiced strong support for Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen under the OSCE Chairmanship.
Tsahkna noted that they appreciate Valtonen’s engagement with stakeholders in Georgia and her commitment to OSCE principles, including freedom of expression and assembly.
The Estonian Foreign Minister also underlined Estonia’s full support for Valtonen’s mission across the South Caucasus region.
