Putin: Russian energy exports are shifting toward more reliable partners
Moscow, October 16 (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said during his speech at REW 2025 (Russian Energy Week) that the European Union’s stance toward Russia’s energy sector has reshaped the country’s export routes.
Putin stated, “The EU’s initiatives have only accelerated the redirection of Russian energy exports toward more promising and responsible buyers.”
The Russian leader emphasized that these buyers are “countries that know their interests and act in line with their national priorities,” highlighting the importance of new and strategic partnerships in Moscow’s energy policy.
