Netherlands and Belgium sign joint air and missile defense agreement
Amsterdam, October 16 (Hibya) – Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced that the Netherlands and Belgium have reunited their forces in response to growing airspace threats.
Minister Brekelmans stated that, together with his Belgian counterpart Theo Francken, he signed an agreement establishing integration-based cooperation in air and missile defense.
Emphasizing that this cooperation will strengthen collective security within NATO, Brekelmans said, “In the face of increasing threats, we act together to enhance the security of our alliance.”
