Ethiopian Prime Minister Ali met with UK Foreign Secretary Cooper
Addis Ababa, February 1 (Hibya) – Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali met with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.
Prime Minister Ali of Ethiopia stated that he met with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper and discussed significant bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Ali mentioned that they witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Technical Cooperation on Public Investments and Asset Management under the Ethiopia Investment Advisory Facility, and he said:
"Additionally, we also witnessed the finalization of a joint development agreement for two critical energy transmission projects: the Hurso-Aysha 400 kV Transmission Project and the Degehbur-Kebridehar 132 kV Transmission Project. These agreements represent an important step in strengthening cooperation and developing strategic infrastructure."
