EU Commission President von der Leyen calls on EU leaders
Brussels, September 19 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen urged EU leaders to swiftly approve the 19th package of sanctions against Russia.
Von der Leyen stated that Europe stands by Estonia in response to Russia’s latest violation of its airspace.
She stressed that any provocation will be met with determination and that the eastern flank will be further strengthened, adding: “As threats increase, so will our pressure. I call on EU leaders to swiftly approve our 19th sanctions package.”
