Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met in Ankara with Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mohieddin Salem.

Referring to the agenda of the meeting, Fidan said: "We comprehensively discussed the political, economic and commercial dimensions of our relations with Sudan. We reaffirmed that we will continue to support efforts to resolve the conflict in the country, maintain our work to meet the humanitarian needs of our Sudanese brothers and sisters, and continue our development assistance during Sudan's reconstruction process."

Fidan also noted that regional and global issues were discussed, stating: "Together with my esteemed counterpart, we held comprehensive consultations on developments in the region, particularly in the Horn of Africa, as well as on global security issues."

Emphasizing Türkiye's firm position, Fidan concluded: "We will continue our principled stance in support of preserving the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Sudan, with which we share deep-rooted historical ties, and we will continue to deepen our relations on the basis of mutual respect and equal partnership."
