Finland joins France's nuclear deterrence initiative
Helsinki, September 14 (Hibya) - Finnish President Alexander Stubb announced that Finland has joined France's nuclear deterrence initiative, which aims to strengthen European security.
Finnish President Alexander Stubb announced in a social media post that Finland has joined France's nuclear deterrence initiative.
Stubb said the initiative is primarily aimed at strengthening European security, stating, “This strengthens Europe's control over its own defence and helps prevent escalation.”
Stubb said France is a good partner for Finland and added that the initiative would strengthen Europe's defence capabilities.
