German Foreign Minister Wadephul assesses tensions in Qatar and the Gulf
Berlin, March 11 (Hibya) - German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul stated in Doha that Qatar and neighboring countries have been drawn into a conflict in which they are not involved.
Wadephul described Iran’s missile and drone attacks on cities, civilian infrastructure, airports and ports as unacceptable.
Minister Wadephul emphasized that Germany stands in full solidarity with all its partners in Qatar and the Gulf, stressing that these attacks endanger civilians and the flow of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Wadephul noted that the attacks coming from Iran must be stopped and that security in the Gulf must be ensured immediately.
