Ghebreyesus meets with French President Macron
Geneva, 26 November (Hibya) — WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus met with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Ghebreyesus met with President Macron on the sidelines of the G20 South Africa Leaders’ Summit.
He stated that they discussed preparations for the first global meeting of the WHO Collaborating Centres network and the upcoming One Health Summit. Ghebreyesus added: “We also addressed WHO’s prioritization and restructuring process and emphasized the importance of sustainable financing to support the organization’s operations and advance Health for All.”
