Grandi: The Iranian people must decide their own future
New York, January 14 (Hibya) — UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi said that massacres must end and that the Iranian people must decide their own future.
UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi said he has witnessed for decades Iran’s generosity in hosting millions of refugees.
Stating that today, amid horrific violence and loss of life, those who most need security, respect, and solidarity are the Iranian people, Grandi said: “Massacres must end. The Iranian people must decide their own future.”
