Harris speaks with UK Chancellor Reeves
Dublin, 5 December (Hibya) – Ireland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Simon Harris, held a phone call with the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves.
Ireland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Harris spoke by phone with the UK Chancellor, Rachel Reeves.
Harris underlined that the economic relationship between the two countries is deep and mutually beneficial, stressing Ireland’s determination to further strengthen these ties.
They also exchanged views on the current state of EU–UK relations and on Ireland’s priorities ahead of its upcoming Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
