IDF Prevents Weapon Smuggling Attempt at Western Border
Jerusalem, November 30 (Hibya) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they prevented an attempt to smuggle weapons across the country’s western border.
According to the IDF statement, the army’s surveillance systems and air control center detected an unmanned aerial vehicle approaching Israeli territory.
Following an inspection, it was determined that the drone had crossed the border to smuggle weapons into the country. IDF units from the Paran Division responded, destroyed the drone, and prevented two long-barreled weapons from reaching the smugglers.
