The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that a new strike was carried out against air defense systems in Iran and that some of those systems were destroyed.

According to the military statement, the Israeli Air Force conducted operations against air defense assets located in western and central Iran.

The statement also said that footage of the strike was released and that one of the targeted systems was completely destroyed.

It was reported that these systems contained anti-aircraft missile components and that secondary explosions were observed following the strike.

The IDF stated: "The destruction of these systems is intended to further expand the Air Force's aerial superiority over Iranian skies and continue removing threats directed at the citizens of the State of Israel."
