Israeli and Burundian foreign ministers hold phone call
Jerusalem, December 17 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar discussed ways to strengthen bilateral and economic relations with Burundi’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and Development Cooperation, Edouard Bizimana.
Israeli Foreign Minister Saar said he held a phone call with Burundian Foreign Minister Edouard Bizimana, noting: “I conveyed my congratulations to Burundi on assuming the presidency of the African Union in February.”
The ministers discussed ways to strengthen bilateral and economic relations, particularly in the fields of agriculture and medicine. Saar said he looks forward to hosting his counterpart in Jerusalem.
