According to a statement from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir emphasized that the army needs the contribution of everyone.

The statement said:

"The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) appreciate the participation of Haredi youth joining our ranks to provide meaningful service to strengthen the state's security. The army is preparing to accommodate the Haredi population by making adaptations that preserve the uniqueness of this community. In the midst of a multi-front war, the IDF needs everyone's contribution, and we will continue working towards this goal."
