Israeli strikes destroyed the marketplace in the city of Nabatiyeh
Nabatiyeh, March 31 (Hibya) – As part of Israel’s operations in southern Lebanon, airstrikes on the city of Nabatiyeh have rendered the historic marketplace, main streets, and residential areas largely unusable.
According to CCTV, marketplaces and transport arteries considered the economic heart of the city suffered heavy damage, while streets were filled with glass, metal, and stones left from the bombardments.
According to official data, at least 70 percent of Nabatiyeh’s population has been forced to leave the city due to rising security risks and the collapse of basic services.
Those who remain are trying to survive under conditions of limited access to food, water, and electricity.
Health workers said that damaged roads and debris are delaying the delivery of aid.
