Kallas: The EU and Bahrain have launched negotiations on a strategic partnership
European Commission Vice-President Kaja Kallas announced that the European Union (EU) and Bahrain have launched negotiations on a new Strategic Partnership Agreement.
European Commission Vice-President Kaja Kallas said that, together with Bahrain's Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani and the European Union's Commissioner for the Mediterranean, Dubravka Suica, they had launched negotiations between the EU and Bahrain on a new Strategic Partnership Agreement.
Kallas said, "The Gulf is now more than ever at the center of geopolitics. The EU and Bahrain will cooperate more closely on security, stability, and trade between our two regions."
