Lahbib: Strengthening international humanitarian law is our shared responsibility
Brussels, November 13 (Hibya) - European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib emphasized the importance of having committed allies in strengthening international humanitarian law (IHL).
Lahbib, in a post on her social media account, said, “It is very valuable to have committed allies in our shared mission to strengthen international humanitarian law. We are already cooperating with many partners in this field.”
Commissioner Lahbib also highlighted that the expertise of the Raoul Wallenberg Center for Human Rights (RWCHR) has contributed to efforts for better coordination, adding, “We had a strong exchange of ideas between experts and policymakers.”
