Lahbib: The EU continues to stand by the people of Lebanon
Brussels, July 19 (Hibya) – European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib drew attention to the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, stating that the EU continues to deliver assistance to the country through its Civil Protection Mechanism.
European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib emphasized that for many displaced families in Lebanon, the crisis is still far from over.
Sharing details of the support delivered to the region, Lahbib said: "The first shipment of relief supplies, shelters and food from the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs has arrived in Lebanon through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism."
Highlighting the importance of international solidarity, Lahbib stated: "The European Union continues to stand by the people of Lebanon."
