Brussels, August 14 (Hibya) - The EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, said that the tragedy in Sudan requires urgent intervention.
The EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Lahbib, stressed that the tragedy in Sudan calls for an immediate response.
She noted that in El Fasher, every day is a struggle for survival and that people are in need of food, emergency aid, and safe passage.
"We call for an immediate humanitarian pause and the lifting of the siege," Lahbib said.
