Qatar condemns Israel’s approval of settlement plans
Doha, August 14 (Hibya) – Qatar has condemned the Israeli Finance Minister’s approval of settlement plans that would separate East Jerusalem from the occupied West Bank.
According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State of Qatar strongly condemned the Israeli Finance Minister’s approval of a plan to build a settlement that would separate East Jerusalem from the occupied West Bank, considering it a blatant violation of international legitimacy, particularly UN Security Council Resolution 2334.
The ministry reaffirmed that Qatar categorically rejects Israel’s policies of expanding settlements and forcibly displacing the Palestinian people.
It also stressed the urgent need for the international community to unite to stop Israel’s settlement expansion plans and ensure compliance with international resolutions.
