Leyen: Europe stands with France
Brussels, August 6 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that Europe stands with France in Aude, where some of the worst forest fires in recent history have occurred.
Commission President Leyen emphasized that Europe is standing by France in Aude, which is facing devastating forest fires.
Expressing support for the firefighters battling the flames, Leyen said: “We are ready to mobilize rescue and EU resources to support efforts to bring the fires under control.”
