Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys met with Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, Chair of the European Parliament's Security and Defence Committee (SEDE).

The meeting addressed security policies, growing hybrid threats, support for Ukraine, and Lithuania’s upcoming Presidency of the Council of the European Union next year.

Budrys stated that drone incursions from Russia and Belarus pose a direct threat to the European Union's (EU) external borders, saying: "Concrete measures – the rapid implementation of Eastern Flank Surveillance, strengthened air defense, counter-drone capabilities, protection of critical infrastructure, stronger coordination, and a robust response to Kremlin disinformation campaigns – are essential for ensuring the security of the EU. Moscow seeks chaos; our response must be unity and strength."
