Meloni congratulates Takaichi after Japan’s post-election results
Rome, February 8 (Hibya) – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni congratulated Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on the success achieved in the elections for Japan’s House of Representatives.
Italian Prime Minister Meloni sent a congratulatory message to Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi following the results of the elections held to renew Japan’s House of Representatives.
In her message, Meloni highlighted the deep friendship and strategic partnership between Italy and Japan, noting that the mutual trust and constructive cooperation established between the two governments over the years have further strengthened relations.
Referring to the hospitality she experienced during her visit to Japan in January, Meloni stated that it reinforced the ties between the two countries and emphasized that Italy will continue to act together with Japan in addressing global challenges and promoting growth, security, and stability.
At the end of her message, Meloni conveyed her best wishes for success to Prime Minister Takaichi and the new Japanese Parliament.
