Brekelmans visited the Royal Marechaussee Investigation Brigade
Amsterdam, February 8 (Hibya) – Dutch Minister of Defence Ruben Brekelmans, together with Deputy Minister of Defence Gijs Tuinman, conducted inspections at the Royal Marechaussee Investigation Brigade.
Dutch Minister of Defence Brekelmans paid a working visit to the Royal Marechaussee Investigation Brigade (Brigade Recherche van de KMar) together with Deputy Minister of Defence Tuinman.
During the visit, information was provided about the brigade’s contribution to complex investigations, including war crimes investigations and incidents occurring during military exercises. Brekelmans stated that the unit’s expertise and sensitivity were noteworthy.
It was noted that the Investigation Brigade is involved in various international and military cases, including investigations into war crimes related to the war in Ukraine.
